Job summary

Relief Mental Health in Illinois is seeking a Clinical Assistant to work closely with the Mental Health Provider, performing vital signs, point-of-care testing, and other patient care tasks. This role requires attention to detail and compassion, with occasional evening hours until 8pm.

You will greet patients, review paperwork, coordinate scheduling, enter data in the EHR, and help maintain exam rooms. Training to administer TMS treatments and support with prescription questions are also part of

Qualifications

• High School diploma or MA certification.
• Familiarity with EMR systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors and patients.
• Review patient paperwork and mental health assessments.
• Assist with phone calls from patients.
• Coordinate scheduling and data entry in the EHR.
• Prepare and upkeep exam and treatment rooms.
• Record patient histories and test results while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with basic vital signs and point-of-care testing.
• Train to administer TMS treatments.
• Assist with pharmacy calls and medication prior authorizations.
• Follow office workflow procedures for efficiency.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance.
