Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician in Battle Creek, MI. You will support residents with daily medications, adhering to physician orders and the Six Rights of medication administration.

You’ll use the eMAR system and collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care. The role requires active MT Certification or equivalent experience, CPR/First Aid, and strong multitasking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician’s orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident medication and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
