Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents with daily medication administration in a compassionate, dignity-preserving manner.

You will follow physician orders, adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration, and use the eMAR system to ensure safe delivery. The role includes direct resident care and supervising other caregivers on shift, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Willingness to participate in additional state-required training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and guidance.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed care team on shift.
