Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician in Michigan to support resident care by administering daily medications with compassion and respect, following physician orders and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training required by states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to learn and use the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to administer medications as ordered.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and policy procedures.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission in daily shift activities.
