Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to safely administer prescribed medications and provide personal care to residents in an Assisted Living setting. You will follow MAR/TAR records, perform routine nursing tasks, and participate in daily activities and documentation to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ months of relevant experience, and state-specific Medication Technician certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related training a plus.
• 1+ months of experience in assisted living or related care setting.
• Current Medication Technician certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medication in compliance with Federal & State regulations and company guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with authorized personnel before handling medication keys; report discrepancies.
• Order medications and treatments from pharmacy or notify responsible party when stock is low.
• Notify supervisor when supply falls under two days and medication hasn’t been received.
• Verify medicines against MAR; notify DHW and pharmacy of discrepancies.
• Provide personal care to residents (bathing, grooming, incontinence care, eating) and basic nursing tasks (vital signs, temperatures, BP, weights).
• Document information in daily logs and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Answer resident calls and assist with needs; maintain clean med carts and restock as needed.
• Attend staff trainings and ensure medical charts for admissions/readmissions are complete within 48 hours.
