Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document meds per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes, measure vitals, assist with basic care under supervision.
• Resident Engagement: build rapport with residents and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures and maintain organized, secure medication carts and records.
