Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing; CPR and First Aid preferred; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe changes, record vital signs, report concerns to the nursing team.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships, encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures, maintain organized medication carts and records; respond to emergencies.
