Cedarhurst Senior Living in Muncie, IN is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications and deliver direct resident care per individualized care plans. The role supports activities of daily living, safety, and accurate documentation while communicating with supervisors, physicians, and families.

Qualified candidates have a state-approved QMA certification and are comfortable working in a team, with CPR/BLS and insulin certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution per an individualized plan of care.
• Observe residents and report condition changes to physicians and supervisors with timely interventions.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily MAR documentation during shifts.
• Pass information to the next shift and support timely documentation by aides.
• Record vital signs and monitor glucose where applicable, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
