MercyOne Medical Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift. You will deliver patient care, prepare charts, assist with procedures, and administer medications and immunizations under the direction of providers.

You will schedule procedures, labs, and follow-ups, coordinate with insurance pre-certifications, and maintain patient confidentiality while supporting a team-based care model. A CAH/ABHES-accredited program and BLS within 3 months are required.

Competenze

• Must complete a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with patients and staff.
• Careful documentation of tests, treatments, and plan of care.

• Deliver patient care via preparation, vital signs, and documentation.
• Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure documentation completeness.
