Qualifications

• Complete an accredited medical assistant program (CAAHP or ABHES).
• Must hold one of the listed MA certifications (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CMA-Clinical, CCMA, NRCMA, NPCE MA).
• Two years of MA experience required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Greet patients and record vitals including BP, temp, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and medications.
• Support clinic operations, patient flow, and communication among team members.
• Oversee staff scheduling, onboarding, and education; assist with payroll and timekeeping.
• Escalate non-routine issues to management and maintain department compliance.
