Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing functions (vitals, rooming, assist with procedures) under physician supervision.
• Assist with various procedures and use of diagnostic equipment as assigned.
• Maintain aseptic technique for preparations, procedures, and medications.
• Accurately and legibly document all patient interactions in the patient record.
• Report results and pertinent information to patients and health care team members.
