Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHP/ABHES-accredited medical assistant program.
• Certification within one year: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA or NPCE MA.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare patient charts, file dictations, and ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; manage follow-ups and referrals.
