Job summary

ConvenientMD in New England is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care, assist providers, and keep clinic operations smooth. You will engage patients, explain medications, and support triage and basic clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires medical assistant certification with 1+ year experience or 2 years MA experience, and a BLS certification. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success at ConvenientMD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with 1+ year experience or 2 years MA experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required (not CPR/ACLS online).

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information on medications and treatment plans.
• Support clinical operations and patient care, including triage and vital signs.
• Document patient information and maintain EHRs per privacy regulations.
• Administer medications under supervision where applicable (NH & ME).
• Collaborate with clinicians to coordinate discharge plans and training of new staff.
