Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care, assist providers, and support clinic operations in New England. You will engage patients, triage needs, perform basic clinical tasks, and document information in EHR systems while complying with HIPAA.

The role includes potential medication administration under supervision in NH & ME, teamwork with clinicians, and ongoing learning in a busy urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Triage patients and determine urgency of medical needs.
• Take vital signs and obtain medical histories.
• Phlebotomy and assist with minor medical procedures.
• Document patient information in EHR in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Administer medications under supervision where allowed (NH & ME only).
• Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate patient care.
