ConvenientMD LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care, support clinicians, and keep clinic operations running smoothly.

You will triage patients, take vital signs, collect histories, assist with phlebotomy and minor procedures, document in EHRs per HIPAA, and collaborate with the clinical team. The role requires 12-hour shifts, some weekend coverage, and travel to other ConvenientMD locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification: Medical Assistant certification with at least one year of experience or two years of MA experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused demeanor and confidentiality.
• Proactive communicator, professional with colleagues and patients.
• Trustworthy, maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsabilités

• Triage patients and determine urgency of medical needs.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, phlebotomy, assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications, dosage instructions and potential side effects.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clinical team and providers on discharge planning when needed.
