This role requires a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant certification (or 1 year of MA experience or 2 years MA), and BLS certification. You should be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and traveling to nearby ConvenientMD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of MA experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Able to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Explain medications and provide dosing instructions.
• Triage patients and determine urgency of care.
• Take vital signs and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information in EHR accurately.
