Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and support providers while keeping clinic operations smooth. You will engage with patients, perform vital signs, triage, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role requires MA certification or relevant experience, BLS certification, and a patient-focused approach with strong communication skills. Training on multiple ConvenientMD locations is possible where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; CPR/ACLS online courses not accepted.
• Compassionate, patient-focused mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about medications and care.
• Support clinical operations: triage, take vital signs, obtain medical histories, phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in EHRs in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision where allowed by state rules (NH & ME).
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist with discharge planning when needed.
