Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and support clinicians in a fast-paced clinic environment in New England. You will engage with patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and help manage medications under supervision while maintaining accurate electronic health records.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to privacy regulations to ensure a positive patient experience and smooth clinic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork with clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Support clinical operations and patient care, including vitals, histories, phlebotomy, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Administer medications under supervision where permitted by state regulations.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to relay patient information and support discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
