Job summary

MACT Health Board Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. The role supports the Medical Department staff, provides patient care during visits, and assists with front and back office tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, BLS/ALS certification preferred, and is capable of handling intake, vitals, and basic lab duties while maintaining accuracy in patient records.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during all stages of visits.
• Support front and back office procedures.
• Complete intake actions and vitals.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures.
• Perform lab tests and phlebotomy as trained.
• Maintain medical equipment inventory and room cleanliness.
• Process prior authorizations for medications and tests.
• Maintain immunization and injectables records.
