Job summary

MACT Health Board, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical department. You will assist and support the Medical Department’s professionals, performing patient care, intake actions, and lab tasks to ensure efficient visits.

The role requires a high school diploma, and current BLS/ALS certification is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a schedule Monday–Friday, 8–5, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS/ALS certification preferred.
• Experience in medical field preferred.
• Must pass Occupational Health Screening.
• Must possess a valid form of identification per I-9 and E-Verify.
• Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during all stages of visits.
• Support front and back office procedures.
• Prepare visits and labs; ensure records are updated.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and take vitals.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures.
• Perform basic lab tests and phlebotomy per policy.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and room cleanliness.
• Process prior authorizations for meds, referrals, and tests.
