Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician in Southern Pines. The role involves providing hands-on care, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting medication administration with a focus on safety and dignity.

You will observe residents, document changes, respond to calls, and maintain clean care environments while supporting enrichment activities and family interactions.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during shifts, checking on them throughout.
• Observe, report and document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Respond promptly to call bells and security alerts.
• Assist with continence management and meals as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Lead or assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Assist with resident laundry and greet all guests and staff.
• For medications: review service plans, observe and document administration, maintain confidentiality.
• Restock medication cart and assist in medication checks with Nurse/HCC.
• Count narcotics with Nurse/Manager and maintain med room cleanliness.
