Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living, LLC in Southern Pines, NC is seeking Caregiver and Medication Technician roles to support residents in a full- service senior living community. The positions involve direct resident care, medication assistance, and daily living activities in a warm, person-centered environment.

Ideal candidates will have a CNA certification (preferred), CPR/First Aid certifications, and a passion for elder care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver for a designated group of residents during the shift; monitor and check on residents throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and condition changes.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly and notify supervisors when needs increase.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation.
• Serve and collect food trays and report meal refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; follow hygiene standards.
• Support activities of daily living and promote independence and safety.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet and assist all visitors and staff.
