Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a dedicated Medication Technician (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate medication administration and daily living assistance to residents in a Washington state setting.

You will join a team-focused environment that values safety, dignity, and resident well-being, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training while participating in weekend rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.
• Minimum 12 months of medication administration experience in a professional setting.
• Memory care experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and offer emotional support with ongoing engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
