Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents by assisting with medication administration and daily living activities, in line with individual care plans. You will join a supportive team dedicated to resident comfort, safety, and well-being.

Requirements include a high school diploma and an active state medication administration license, such as CNA/CMA, plus First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report status changes.
• Manage medication inventory, proper storage, and coordinate re-orders/deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and offer emotional support and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Facilitate open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
