Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Washington state seeks a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech - CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities per personalized care plans.

You will join a supportive team focused on resident safety, comfort, and well-being, while maintaining documentation, inventory, and timely pharmacy coordination. CNA/HCA license and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and storage; coordinate orders with pharmacies.
• Provide support with activities of daily living and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
