Job summary

Emerus is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision. You will document care, perform focused assessments, and administer medications following state nurse practice act and hospital policies.

Requirements include LVN/LPN licensure in the state, BLS and ACLS certifications, English fluency, and quick completion of Pedagogy IV within 30 days of hire. This is a full-time on-site role in Texas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; graduation from an approved LVN/LPN program.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• English fluency; written and verbal communication.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Completes accurate documentation of patient care per plan of care.
• Performs focused patient assessments per state nurse practice act and policies.
