Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our team in a small-format hospital setting.

The role provides safe, compassionate nursing care under the direct supervision of the RN, with responsibilities including medication administration, documentation, and patient assessments. The ideal candidate holds an LVN/LPN license, is fluent in English, and has a minimum of two years’ acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current LVN or LPN license in the practicing state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, required.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• English fluency for written and verbal communication.
• PA clearances (Act 33 & Act 73) completed within the last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Administer medications per organizational policy.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Complete focused patient assessments per policy.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to infection control procedures.
