Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services, Allentown area, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and coordinate compassionate care for residents. The role requires active LPN licensure in the state of practice and CPR certification, with preferred experience in gerontological nursing.

The LPN will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and document care in the EMR while upholding EverTrue standards of safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure scope and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor IV therapy as ordered.
• Utilize EMR for accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
• Maintain safety and continuity of care across residents and shifts.
