Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and coordinate care for residents in a supportive, team-based setting in Missouri. The role requires maintaining licensure and CPR certification, with a preference for gerontological nursing experience.

You will administer medications, monitor treatments, and document using the EMR while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act; Keeps a current active license.
• Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to define individualized plans of care for each resident.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors IV fluids and nutrition as ordered.
• Initiates IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Maintains documentation in the EMR and follows care plans and MDS as applicable.
• Observes resident status and coordinates with other services to ensure continuity of care.
• Oversees and directs certified staff to ensure EverTrue standards of care.
• Reports incidents and supports investigative protocols per regulations.
