Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care in accordance with individualized care plans. The role supports nurses and other staff, assists with activities of daily living, mobility, and meals, and documents patient status while maintaining confidentiality.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license in good standing, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS, and a food handler permit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Food Handler Permit required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with state (preferred, not required).
• At least one year of experience in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide CNA services to residents according to care plans and supervisor instructions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living following care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transferring residents as needed.
• Coordinate dining room services, food delivery, feeding assistance, and document intake.
• Document meal intake and weight changes; report to nurse.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect health information.
• Participate in infection control, safety drills, and trainings.
• Perform tasks assigned to support nursing staff and care coordination.
