Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group in Woods Cross, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, meal service, intake documentation and routine observations as part of a coordinated care team.

Requirements include CNA certification, High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS, and a Food Handler Permit. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and a valid Food Handler Permit.

Responsibilities

• Assists resident with activities of daily living according to care plans and procedures.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
• Coordinates dining room services, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documents intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and monitors intake, documenting changes.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports changes to nurse and supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports any issues to nursing staff.
• Supports toileting programs and completes daily progress documentation.
• Maintains communication with supervisors about factors affecting performance.
• Participates in life safety drills and follows infection control policies.
