Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group in Utah is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care under supervision. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor condition, document changes, and support nursing staff to maintain quality care.

The role requires good English communication, empathy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and hygiene policies. CPR/BLS and Food Handler permits are preferred; prior long-term care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work as a supportive team member and follow directions.
• Must be able to perform lifting and transferring duties with proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting as needed.
• Coordinate dining room services, meal trays, and feeding assistance; document intake.
• Record weights and monitor changes; report to nurse and supervisor.
• Document care progress and communicate barriers to performance.
