Job summary

Allied Caregivers is seeking an Intake Specialist to onboard clients by assessing care needs, explaining services, and ensuring a smooth intake experience. You will communicate with clients, families, and caregivers to start non-medical home care services promptly.

In this role you will document intake information, coordinate with care teams, educate clients on policies and pricing, and follow up to ensure satisfaction and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LNA/CNA experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Blood TB test and physical required.
• Comfort with computers, tablets, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for new clients and families during intake.
• Complete intake paperwork and coordinate with scheduling to initiate services.
• Educate clients on services, policies, and pricing; follow up after intake.
• Observe safety concerns and report to administrative/care coordination teams.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
