Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and scheduling operations for patients.
• Coordinate with clinicians to determine levels of care and scheduling needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the EMR.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and referral options.
• Support patient engagement during the intake process.

• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams.
