Master Center for Addiction Medicine is seeking an Intake Coordinator to screen patients, conduct initial intakes, and set the tone for a compassionate, confidential experience. You\'ll connect with callers at emotional times, educate them about services, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth scheduling.

The ideal candidate has medical office experience, proficiency with phones and EMR software, good multitasking skills, and a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical office and handling patient inquiries.
• Proficiency with phone systems, computers and EMR software.
• Ability to multi-task with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment services is a plus.
• Demonstrates reliability, confidentiality and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient inquiries and conducts initial screenings and intakes.
• Obtains and records necessary information to determine program eligibility.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and coordinates scheduling with staff.
• Delivers compassionate, confidential information about services.
• Provides professional, timely follow-up and supports patient flow.
