Job summary

Paycom seeks a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate direct patient care in patients' homes under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with transfers and ambulation, maintain infection control, and ensure a clean, safe environment while documenting care.

Responsibilities include reporting changes to the RN and care team, supporting nutrition and hydration, and coordinating with other hospice staff. A high school diploma and caregiver training or CNA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Completion of nurse aide training/competency evaluation program.
• Current driver's license required.
• One year of hospice aide or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation per policy.
• Report changes and document care rendered to patient.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment.
• Support proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake.
• Communicate observations to supervisor and care team.
