Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients in a home-based setting. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, support families, and help maintain patient comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have CNA certification and experience in direct patient care, with basic tech skills for charting and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) OR one year in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting within last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing hospice patients and helping with hygienic routines.
• Consult with supervising registered nurses and keep families informed about patient progression and needs.
