Job summary

The Alden Network in Illinois is seeking a dedicated housekeeping aide to support daily cleaning operations within our senior living facility. You will follow policies, maintain a warm, safe environment, and collaborate with residents and staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include following schedules, restocking supplies, documenting maintenance needs, and participating in infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Follow established housekeeping policies and dress code.
• Meet the housekeeping team regularly to identify problems.
• Follow and complete cleaning schedules daily.
• Maintain a warm, personal and calm environment.
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are stocked and labeled.
• Report accidents to supervisor and participate in QA program.
• Attend staff meetings as directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
