Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping staff member to perform daily housekeeping duties in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies. You will work under the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates will be at least 16 years old, possess a High School diploma or equivalent, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors, staff, and agencies.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow department policies and dress code.
• Meet housekeeping staff regularly to identify improvements.
• Follow cleaning schedules daily.
• Maintain warm, personal, and calm environment in the department.
• Assist with orientation of new employees and training.
