Job summary

The Alden Network in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide daily resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, facility policies, and directions from nursing leadership.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor well-being, report changes, and help maintain a safe, warm, and respectful environment for every resident.

Qualifications

• Nursing arts course completion evidenced by diploma or certificate.
• Be at least 16 years old and of good character.
• Provide evidence of prior employment/residence as a nursing assistant for two years prior to initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Monitor resident well-being and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and respectful resident environment.
• Attend and participate in care conferences when invited.
• Record intake/output and monitor meals and hydration.
• Assist with bed making, room upkeep, and supply organization.
• Respond promptly to call lights and carry out errands as needed.
• Support rehabilitation and self-care initiatives.
