Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter for full-time first shift. Under supervision, you will safely move patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies across the Medical Center, ensuring patient dignity and accurate identification during transport.

The role requires high school or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and CPR certification within 30 days of start date. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School, GED equivalency, or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and other transport equipment.
• Ensures patient dignity and privacy, checks patient ID and band, and secures patient for transport.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment and assists in locating equipment and supplies as needed.
