Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport patients up to 250 pounds with assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs and beds.
• Assists in positioning patients on/off transport conveyance and ensures patient identification and dignity.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment and related devices.
