Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of the following programs: CNA/MA/PCT, Fundamentals of Nursing, HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or equivalent medical background; if not completed, eligible for PCT Apprentice program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age-specific needs and safety criteria.
• Communicate patient status with RN and health care team.
• Assist from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning of care.
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture; collect specimens with proper labeling.
• Perform EKGs and monitor vital signs as directed.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and maintained.
