Job summary

Providence is seeking an RN Nurse Clinician to provide holistic care for terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and families. You will assess needs, plan, coordinate, implement, and revise the care plan in collaboration with the IDG to anticipate changes and avoid crises.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing or Bachelor's Degree Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience for Pediatric Programs.
• Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, family, and needs and plan, coordinate, implement and revise the Plan of Care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG) to anticipate changes and avoid crises.
• Promote patient and family choice and ensure continuity of care.
• Adapt shift, schedule and caseload as needed to position requirements.
