Job summary

Providence is seeking an RN Nurse Clinician to provide holistic care for terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and families. You will assess needs, plan, coordinate, implement, and revise the care plan in collaboration with the IDG to anticipate changes and avoid crises.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing or Bachelor's Degree Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience for Pediatric Programs.
• Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience.

The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families by assessing the needs of the patient, and then planning, coordinating, implementing, and as needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, ensuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and caseload may vary according to position assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Or
