Providence SCS Hospice is seeking a dedicated RN Nurse Clinician to provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care. You will assess needs, plan, coordinate, implement, and revise the Plan of Care for terminally ill pediatric or adult patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary hospice group.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license.
• At least an Associate's degree in nursing; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association).

The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families by assessing the needs of the patient, and then planning, coordinating, implementing, and as needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, ensuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and caseload may vary according to position assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year Nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience required for a position in the Pediatric Programs.
• Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience.
