Job summary

Providence in Spokane Valley is seeking a per diem RN Nurse Clinician to deliver holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families. You will assess needs, plan, coordinate, implement, and revise the Plan of Care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary hospice team.

The role requires WA RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year nursing experience with pediatric exposure preferred. Shifts, schedule, and caseload vary by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic care to terminally ill patients and families by assessing needs and planning, coordinating, implementing, and revising the Plan of Care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice group to anticipate changes, avoid crises, promote patient and family choice, ensure continuity of care, and enhance quality of life.
• Manage shift scheduling and caseload according to position assignment.
