Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification (within last two years).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, ROM, positioning, and housekeeping.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follows written care plans prepared by a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises.
• Performs simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
