Qualifications

Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide.
CPR certification required for direct patient care.
Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including personal hygiene assistance and mobility support.
Assist patients at home or in facilities, including lifting and positioning when needed.
Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and maintain patient safety and dignity.
Uphold infection control and safety protocols in home and facility settings.
