Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a dedicated hospice aide (CNA) to work under a registered nurse in patients' homes. You will observe, document, and perform personal care to promote comfort for patients and families, ensuring care meets professional standards.

The role requires CPR certification, a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state training and certification requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients as assigned.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens.
• Assist in feeding and dressing patients.
• Report patient condition changes to the case manager.
• Follow documentation and care procedures.
